Soul Summit: A Food Conversation

A bi-annual symposium that celebrates the rich culinary history of African Americans. Hosted by Toni Tipton-Martin’s foundation, The SANDE Youth Project, in partnership with public and private entities, such as universities, other nonprofit organizations and food businesses, Soul Summit brings together nationally-recognized scholars, restaurateurs, farmers, chefs, vintners, entrepreneurs, students, journalists, food activists and others interested in experiencing African American food culture. Soul Summit is dedicated to promoting and preserving regional African American foodways, exploring food trends, and inspiring future generations of culinary professionals.
