The International Association of Culinary Professionals established the Toni Tipton-Martin Award to uplift an emerging food writer who demonstrates readiness to professionally transition their work into full-time food journalism. The TTMA “will enable emerging writers to attend writing classes, get close up with primary sources and obtain the skills they need to bring their project to life. Situating the award at IACP is a way for me to support the organization’s continuing dedication to industry fundamentals.” On September 29, 2023 at the IACP Awards Ceremony in Brooklyn, NY, Tiffanie Barriere was honored as the first recipient.

Les Dames D’Escoffier, International, in partnership with the TTMF, provided 15 scholarships for women writers to attend the M.F.K. Fisher Women in Food & Storytelling Symposium in Nashville, TN.

Black Women in Food – the TTMF sponsored a publishing workshop emerging Black women writers in Washington, DC.
